As the chill of Autumn sets in, neighborhood birds congregate around seed feeders to prepare for the onset of winter. This male Dark Eyed Junco, or flashy sparrow with its beautiful black "mane" is not common in my area so it was a joy to capture him.A beautiful image to add the warm and inviting colors of fall and this gorgeous bird in a wall hanging, tote or shower curtain.

I photograph landscapes and wildlife using my unique perspective to create visual narratives to share my connection to the animals and the environment I love. All of my images are captured as organically as possible to include the animal's habitat and environmental conditions. As a mindful photographer, I always maintain a healthy distance from all wildlife I photograph, and I minimize my impact on the environment by leaving only footprints.
