Artist's Description

his chapel was built over a spiritual vortex, that Sedona is famous for. The sculptor who was the visionary of this extraordinary church found this location to build it when she vacationed there. She was awed by the beauty and the majesty of the red rock formations, not realizing how difficult it would be to build in such a unusual location, so there were many obstacles to cross before the church was finally finished in 1957. Because the church was to be built in the middle of an Arizona national forest, she had to get permission from then Governor Barry Goldwater which he granted immediately. In 2007 Arizonans awarded this splendid example of architecture one of the Seven Man-Made Wonders of Arizona.

This as wall art would certainly make a unique conversation piece and add beauty to any room it is hung in.
